Status Mapping

Status Mapping is essential for Driver Anywhere to function properly.  Please pay close attention to this critical step.

Step 1:  Determining when Drivers will see trips assigned to them.

  • By default a driver can see a trip in Driver Anywhere once they are added to the reservation in Driver 1 field.  If this method is practical for your company then skip to Step 2.
  • If the driver is not to see the trip until a selected status is designated for the trip...
  1. Click on My Office
  2. The Company Settings tab will be open by default
  3. Click on the Company Preferences button
  4. Click on the Reservations button
  5. At the bottom of the page see the setting "Auto offer trip when driver is applied:"
  6. Set this to "No"
  7. Click "Update My Company Preferences" to save.

Step 2:  Mapping the Operator Flow

  1. Click on My Office
  2. The Company Settings tab will be open by default
  3. Click on the Company Preferences button
  4. Click on the System Mapping button
  5. Click the Statuses tab.  Note:  The Service Types tab is not used for this process and should be left as is.
  6. The Operator Flow is selected by default.
  7. Un-mapped statuses are found on the left side under the label "Statuses:"
  8. Statuses can be mapped by dragging and dropping them to the correct function
  • "Trip Created by ORES" must have the status "Online and eFarm In" mapped to it.
  • "Unassigned/Rejected" should have the status that is default for your company if a driver has not accepted (taken no action), or has rejected a trip.  Note:  If no change to the default setting was made in Step 1 Drivers will be able to see a trip in their Driver Anywhere app if he/she is added to the trip.  Note 2:  If a driver rejects a trip in the Driver Anywhere app the trip will revert to the status mapped here, and the driver who rejected the trip will be removed from the trip.
  • "Offered to Driver" will only be visible if the change was made to the setting in step 1.   It is strongly recommended that the status "Dispatched" be mapped here because it has The process of sending the Driver SMS Message programmed to it.
  • "Assigned/Accepted" should have the status that is default for your company if a driver has accepted the trip in the Driver Anywhere app.
  • "Cancelled" should contain any statuses that will result indicate a trip that will not be completed such as "Cancelled", "No Show",  and/or "Late Cancel".
